Medical disposable nerve probe consists of probe, handle, wire and connector. It is used to stimulate nerves in neurosurgery and assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of nerve function during operation.
In neurosurgery, it is mainly used for direct stimulation of cranial nerve, spinal nerve root and brainstem. The concentric probe is mainly used for small range stimulation. The electric pulse impulse shock wave emitted by the central electrode is controlled within the outer circle electrode, with the range limited to mm, which is not easy to cause large action.
When stimulating peripheral nerve and pedicle screw, ball tip probe and flush tip probe are often used.
The use of triple hook probe is the same as that of double hook probe, but the artifact is small (the diffusion of stimulation current is controlled).
In order to record the conduction of peripheral nerve and the identification and function judgment of nerve during peripheral nerve transplantation, bipolar, double ball and double hook probes are often used for peripheral nerve stimulation and recording.
